I was 19 when I saw [Spider-Man]. I got a pirated DVD at portobello Market with my friend Terry McGuiness, and we went back to my skanky apartment in North London and we watched it twice in a row and then practiced your final line in the mirror!… Terry has this thick accent and every time I would recite that line he would laugh this very distinct laugh and say, ‘No, man, you could never be fucking Spider-Man. You’ll never be fucking Spider-Man!’ I was so humiliated and upset. But, um…fuck you, Terry!

ANDREW: My brother, as you know, had twin boys recently. And these boys are… loved. Harry and Josh were coming into the world just as the same time as I was interacting with your kids in Ethiopia and in Haiti. It was profoundly upsetting to see the contrast and the unjustness of it. The unjustness of a defenseless child’s birth right being stripped of them. (x)

I met her first at the screen test and I was like, oh man, if I have to spend 6 years of my life talking about one thing over and over again to camera crews and stuff, it have to be with this person, you know. She’s um, she’s… she is what she is, she’s what she seems like, you know. She’s incredibly… sweet, funny, down-to-earth, genuine, doesn’t take herself seriously in any way, shape or form. It’s the most, you know, honourable quality that I, that, you know, the one quality that I love in anyone, I mean, I look for that and she has that in buckets.
